My love affair with New York City

There is just something about New York City that excites me and makes me feel like home. I’m not sure what it is, but I LONG to live there. There is always something to do, somewhere to be, something great VEGAN to eat!
So, I went to New York for the NY Comic Con last weekend. Yup, I’m a geek. My boyfriend is an artist, the starving comic book kind, and we needed to go to this convention.
I gave one stipulation: vegan food. And lots of it.
I’m in NEW YORKKK! (almost)

Yes, I am singing Alicia Keys. This is because I am traveling to the Big Apple on Friday for …. COMIC CON!
And you bet your top dollar that I am dressing up.
*Now, I must break for a moment and apologize for not blogging as much recently. Stress, anxiety and a personal issue has gotten the best of me, and picking myself back up from this has been a bit difficult. In the meantime, I haven’t thought of any blog ideas of me not making food, and I certainly haven’t been in the mood to bake/cook/even do the dishes. But I shouldn’t let life get in the way of my dedication and obligations.*
Ahem, so, what I am requesting from everyone in the blogosphere is, GIVE ME PLACES TO EATTTT!!!!
I have been to Blossom and to Franchia, and also babycakes a long time ago. Oh and Lula’s Sweet Apothecary.
I will be at the Javits Center at 655 West 34th Street. If any vegans want to meet up, by all means, let’s plan!
Nom, nom, I can’t wait!!
